If you haven't heard of the architect Rex Hohlbein, perhaps you've seen the "Just Say Hello" stickers around town, or heard of Facing Homelessness, his empathy-based organization that works on not just helping those in need but humanizing them for those of us who've never needed to live the hardscrabble life. Rex understands the power of narrative in shaping how we think, and knows that it's not opinions, or facts, which bring people together, but stories. 


His podcast "You Know Me Now" is a podcast version of this conceit, and is comprised of in-depth interviews with folks he meets on the street. I'm honored to be on his show, and particularly excited about this interview because, although I cherish all the other opportunities, getting to share a chat with someone who's as familiar about the world of the street as I am (moreso than me, honestly), as acquainted with the textures and faces and worlds I daily take part in... well, the conversation can just go to that many more interesting places.
