Hazel and I are reading your stories tonight. I just wanted to say, the last paragraph of this story is exquisite. It is a short peom of life all in itself and really sums up such a heavy interaction. Your ability to let the light and the dark in May have allowed this person to speak this allowd for the first time. I can tell that you captured it nearly word for word. I felt like a fly sitting on the farebox in the midst if thelis interaction. The passage of silence in the passing of three stops. I was so focused on the interaction and the last paragraph transported me quickly and swiftly into bliss. Beautiful.
