Gallery 110: Oct 6 2022 & December 2022
As one of Gallery 110's new Core Member artists, I'll have the honor of having three rather sizable images up this upcoming October 1st Thursday; the photographs (one of which is pictured above) are original, handmade color darkroom prints, will be available for sale, and will remain on display through October. Gallery 110 is open Thurs-Sat, 12-5, or by appointment.
Aside from the above event, please enjoy the Speeches page, which has over a dozen videos of past events– lectures, book talks, stories, and more. As well, take a peek at the pieces below– reflections on a few past events I'm way too fortunate to have experienced.

Elliott Bay Book author event: thoughts afterwards
Did you miss my book launch? Probably not, since there were a million people there... But if you did– or if you want an event more focused around discussion on the book itself, since that show was really largely more about the photographs, or if you want to stop by and just hang out again, or bring your friends, or if you maybe just want to pummel me with bus questions (please!), please come.
I'd be thrilled to see you.
The book is now on sale at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park. It continues to be for sale at Phinney Books and Madison Books, and, of course, Elliott Bay (link to purchase online!).
UPDATE: thoughts on this event, which turned out to be one for the ages. It's getting to be where I say this after every event, but please know I mean it every single time: Thanks for a turnout I could never have dared dream of.

Kindness in a Glance: Book Launch and Art Show, October 13
This show has since passed, as you can glean from the date, but I offer a recap of all the lil' goodies it contained here, in case you missed it: The Details: Photos, Process, Statements.
Some thoughts on how the show turned out.
- This show featured large-scale prints from the last color darkroom in the US, which just closed its doors for the last time. Read more here and here.
- It was also the launch of my new book, The Lines That Make Us, a personal curation of the best stories of this blog. Learn more here and here!

SEATTLE ART MUSEUM! One night only!
This event took place March 6. Thanks for coming, and making that the biggest turnout for any of SAM's "My Favorite Things" tours, ever! A few thoughts of mine on the show here.
"The Full Nathan!" has come down,
but don't let that stop you from watching the speech below from the opening night. This (solo) show was a tongue-in-cheek "retrospective" featuring a sizable body of work in photography, film, illustration, and writing- read the Seattle Times review here.
